Now's the time
I've been getting my fingers and head round the Sax part for the Stevie Wonder funk classic "Sir Duke". Although the original sounds like it's in B, it's been suggested that the guys playing with Stevie recorded it in Bflat and speeded it up!* This month sees the anniversary of Charlie "Bird" Parker's death. The genius king of (sax) jazz. I'm sure he'd have had no problems with it...
*hmm...This is probably just an excuse for playing it slower in an easier key...
