talk to me of emptiness
on a winter's day
staring up
at the heavy sky;

perhaps
you will remind me
who I used to be
or indeed
who I will become

how we miss the snow
the cold biting.
at least in numbness
we knew that once
we were able to feel.

He smiles.

He smiles as the rain falls.
As the rain falls he smiles.
He sees all joy and pain
For no veil covers
His eyes.

He smiles as the sun shines.
As the sun shines he smiles.
He welcomes the love of the moment,
The beauty of the passing,
And the bliss of becoming.

He smiles as the rainbow forms.
As the rainbow forms he smiles.
He perceives the true nature of existence,
That which you and I
Shall never know.

The horse is not easy to photo as it seems to have been designed to be viewed from above. Very interestin.

We went to see the white horse in uffington. It's thought to be 2000-3000 years old. The hills were windy! Last week I was on another hill, quiet and moonlit. Later I saw it painted in gold on the wall of a hospital; birds in the trees, families playing and hope in the air.
